Minimum system configuration is a standard PC with a communication front end to the process (one computer solution for small plants without redundance necessity).

Medium system configuration is a hot-stand-by pair of master PC's (usable also for process operation) plus redundant process servers (also usable as operating terminals).

Maximum system configuration is like medium configuration plus additional operating terminals.
